Our Roots
Carcara honors the rich agricultural history of the Phoenix area and focuses on delivering simple comforts and refined details. The design is inspired by the region's cotton fields and citrus groves, evoking feelings of nostalgia while also offering a fresh sensibility that focuses on the sense of place in Phoenix. The space features lush greenery both in a mix of clay pots and from a large hanging wood planter suspended from the ceiling, marble pavers in a variety of colors and shapes, and ochre and sunbaked gold tones throughout. All three of the private dining rooms are also individually designed using unique decor and light fixtures that blend with the restaurant's overall aesthetic.
Carcara boasts 7,000 square feet of dining space including a 2,000-square-foot outdoor patio and can seat up to 276 guests. The restaurant features a central bar, indoor lounge area, main dining area with an expansive 14-foot tree, and an outdoor lounge and dining area with a traditional fireplace and two fire pits. With privacy and safety top of mind, the restaurant also boasts three private dining rooms for groups and intimate events. Located on the southeast corner of Sheraton Downtown Phoenix, Carcara is accessible through the ground floor lobby of the hotel as well as the 3rd Street entrance.
